Unter dem Gesichtspunkt der Zuverlässigkeit gibt der Autor einen kurzen Überblick über die historische Entwicklung des Liegenschaftskatasters in Deutschland und die Struktur der Katasterverwaltung. Er betrachtet den Inhalt des Liegenschaftskatasters und erläutert das Zusammenwirken mit dem Grundbuch. Rechtliche und technische Aspekte der Zuverlässigkeit des deutschen Katasters werden hervorgehoben.
